Overview
Camp Memories is designed as a private, local-first camping journal. We do not operate a custom backend server for your camping memories, and we do not sell your personal information.
Information You Add to the App
You may choose to add information such as camping trips, campsite details, notes, ratings, estimated costs, photos, meals, gear items, companions, and location information.
This information is stored on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, this information may be synced through your personal iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services.
Photos and Camera
Camp Memories may request access to your camera or photo library so you can attach photos to your camping trips. Photos you add are used only for your trip memories within the app.
Location
Camp Memories may request location access so you can save campsite or trip locations. Location access is optional, and you can disable it at any time in iOS Settings.
iCloud Sync
If iCloud sync is enabled, your data may be stored in your private iCloud account and synced across your Apple devices. iCloud data is handled by Apple according to Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy practices.
Purchases
If Camp Memories offers paid features, purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Analytics and Tracking
Camp Memories does not use third-party advertising trackers. Camp Memories does not sell your data.
Children’s Privacy
Camp Memories is not intended to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can help address the issue.
Your Choices
- You can delete trips and related information in the app.
- You can disable camera, photo, or location permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can manage iCloud settings in iOS Settings.
